The last assignment requires submitting a job opportunity analysis using SCDATA. You will need to open an account, but SCDATA never sends you an email to activate your account. So, you can't submit your assignment. And thus, you never finish the course. Poorly designed course. No response from instructor. And when you finally get your account activated and complete your assignment, I am still waiting for someone to peer-review my assignment. I am regretting taking this class. Overall, it has been a terrible experience.

Honestly more than half of the course is just a rant on how you as a "supply chain analyst" can find a job and your value. This is a course mind you.. unreal

not to mention the language of the instructor is not clear and at times is hardly understandable.

All you will learn is why is so important to take this course. No methods, no formulas, no graphics, no analysis. It is just a tons of videos telling you why SCM is good, but not how to perform any analysis.

Terrible course. Not interesting at all plus the delivery of the instructor is horrible. Won't recommend anyone to take this course. There are better courses online to do than this one.

It does not teach students how to do analysis for supply chain. We are fully aware of imporatnce of analytics on supply chain, but how to do these analytics are missing in this course.

Hi, my name is Nidhi and I have just entered the industry right out of undergrad. Currently, I am pursuing my Masters in Supply Chain Analytics. I am working in the financial services doing operations. I believe that this course has expanded my knowledge about supply chain analytics. I really liked the real life examples that these videos provided. They gave insight about how different industries relate to supply chain and use real time data to show the concepts.

This course did a great job explaining the assignments and had thorough explanations of the weekly concepts. I am interested to learn more about supply chain analytics as I go further into my Master's program and my career.

This is a good resource to learn about the supply chain and Dr. Zhao provided tools for analyzing the data. Very useful!

I like the videos because there were data from existing company and I was surprised to see the analysis part from Week I, Kmart vs. Walmart because Walmart did well because they focus on customer satisfaction. The week 2 discussed about SMMSS in details providing me a better understanding of the process. Week 3 Chain Effects I & II demonstrated the cycle for inventory. Week 4, provides a complete summary of supply chain demand and analysis. This is one of the better programs for teaching SCAE.

I enjoyed this course, lot of basics covered. And examples helped understand the concepts.

Graded assignments were good and many times I watched videos twice to have better understanding.

Overall as 1st course of the Supply Chain Essentials Specialization, this course lays the foundation.

This course on Supply Chain Analytics Essentials has helped me in knowing the pain points involved in the Supply Chain domain and the methodologies which help in relieving them. It gave an idea of how to measure companies supply chain efficiency.

The course was great but I was very disappointed by the peer review process. Many students are cheating/plagiarizing, provided blank work etc. This is making the certificate/specialization worthless at the end in the eyes of employers

It is a good start if you know nothing about supply chain and financials, like me. But i would like a little more information about how good we did in the last project, i mean, is a MOOC, but it could include some insightful points.

This is excellent course for the starter. I like the way Yao Zhao talk about the pain area in the supply chain, why it is essential to be resolved. How Analytics play vital role with the data captured by the companies.
